Duel withdrawal: time, fees and KYC
Getting money in and out of Duel.com: how long a withdrawal takes, what it costs, when Duel can ask for your ID, and which cryptos you can deposit. Read from Duel's own cashier and Terms of Service.
How to withdraw on Duel
- Click Wallet at the top of Duel, then the Withdraw tab.
- Pick the currency and the network, for example Tether (USDT) on Ethereum (ERC-20).
- Paste your withdrawal address. It must be on that same network.
- Enter the amount. The transaction fee is shown before you confirm.
- Click Withdraw.
How long does a Duel withdrawal take?
In our experience, Duel withdrawals are instant: there is no pending period on Duel's side. After that, the transfer takes the usual confirmation time of the blockchain you picked: a few seconds to a few minutes on fast networks, longer on Bitcoin when the network is busy.
Two things can slow a withdrawal down or lose it: a KYC request, and a wrong address or network.
Duel withdrawal fees
Duel's Terms of Service say Duel "does not profit from deposit or withdrawal fees". What you pay is the network or processing fee of the blockchain or the payment provider, and you see it in the Withdraw tab before you confirm.
When a currency offers several networks in the Network menu, compare the fee shown for each one before you confirm, and use the same network in your own wallet.
Does Duel require KYC?
Not at signup: you create your account and play without sending documents. But Duel's Terms of Service reserve the right to request identity verification (KYC) before processing a withdrawal, and say that if you refuse or fail to provide the documents, Duel is not liable for the loss of access to your funds. The Terms also name KYC as a possible step when someone tries to get around sports betting limits or settlement.
In practice: play on your own account, one account per person, and keep your ID at hand in case Duel asks.
Duel deposit methods and minimum
The Deposit tab of the Wallet accepts 16 cryptocurrencies:
You can also pay with a card and other payment methods through the Deposit with Cash option, under the crypto address.
Minimum deposit: Duel's cashier does not show a minimum amount for crypto deposits. A deposit smaller than the network fee makes no sense, though. The $100 welcome bonus with Duel2027 does not depend on a deposit either: it unlocks once you have wagered $7 777 on slots.
Mistakes that cost money
- Wrong network or address. Duel's Terms make you responsible for the address and the network you use, and losses caused by a mistaken transaction are not reimbursed. Pick the same network on both sides, every time.
- Expecting a refund on a deposit. Duel does not refund deposits by default.
- Sending from an exchange without checking its network. Exchanges often default to another network for the same coin: check it before you send.
